Naming rights
We reported on two crime stories last week: one a sentencing, the other a possible homicide.
On Sunday afternoon a body was found on the deck of an Anchorage home. Here’s the second graf from the adn story:
The body belonged to Mia Soltis, a 48-year-old dancer at the Crazy Horse who was last seen leaving her job early Saturday.
On Wednesday a judge sentenced Mechele Linehan to 99 years in prison for her role in a 1996 murder. Here’s the story lede:
Just before a judge sentenced her to 99 years in prison, former stripper Mechele Linehan fought back tears and spoke for the first time in court.
(My emphasis)
Linehan also has her own section as well as a ’stripper murder trial’ bug at the top of our home page).

So killers are strippers and the deceased are dancers? Who made up that rule?
